The original Buderim home was a combination of rooms with no central connection. The TMG renovation transformed the house, giving it a modern open plan living feel but keeping the Buderim ambience.
“The owners had a really defined vision of what they wanted. We worked very closely with the client to achieve their dream home,” Tim Grieve said. The new features included a carved timber front door which was imported from India and remodelled to suit the new entry foyer.
The rear pavilion roof line was designed by Tim to incorporate the owner’s vision of an open timber structure for a multiple-use entertaining area. The timberwork creates a unique character to the house.
An upper level extension was added incorporating a large main bedroom with ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and bi-fold doors that lead out to a Juliet Verandah. Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were completely remodelled with extensive tiling and timber flooring.
